Volunteers:
Any volunteer opportunity at Senior Express is personal and direct. Our job as an organization is to help seniors with their transportation and our volunteers are our most valuable asset after our clients. We will be happy to talk to you in-person about our volunteer opportunities. We need You for our success!
Using a limousine company to volunteer their limo services for a few hours a week is a great way to get people involved with a great cause, and having 2 limo service companies from Las Vegas; Transportation One Las Vegas and VIP Limousine Service was much appreciated and created a great value.
Volunteer Drivers:
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be courteous, kind and flexible with passengers
- Must sign a confidentiality statement
- Must have a well maintained car that is reasonably clean
- Must have an e-mail account
- Must have 3 points or fewer on their driving record
- Must have a cell phone
Volunteer Ride Scheduler:
- Must have a computer and a phone
- Must have knowledge or can be trained on our database
- Must have 5 to 10 hrs. of volunteer time to devote to ride scheduling
Volunteer Community Coordinator:
- Must have an interest in their community and a desire to expand Senior Express into that area
- Must have basic community and marketing skills to attract volunteers and clients
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Must have the ability to speak in front of small and large groups
- Must have networking skills
